Founder & Executive Director

Imam Faisal Khan was born and raised in New York City. Having been awarded the New York Times Scholarship, the Seinfeld Scholarship and Columbia University’s I.I. Rabi Scholarship, he graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics. He embarked upon his formal Islamic studies under various scholars studying Qur’ān, Qur’ānic Exegesis (Tafsīr), Prophetic Traditions (Ḥadīth), Creed (‘Aqīdah), Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Principles of Jurisprudence (Uṣūl ul-Fiqh) and Arabic Linguistics. He furthered his Islamic studies in Cairo and Alexandria (Egypt) studying Qur’ānic Elocution (Tajwīd) and Arabic Rhetoric (Balāghah). During his stay in Egypt, he had the opportunity to benefit from many scholars of Al-Azhar University.


At Quba Institute NY, he is an instructor of Tafsīr, Prophetic Biography (Sīrah), and Arabic Grammar (Naḥw).
