Shaykha (Alimah) Maryam is an accomplished Islamic scholar who has been illuminating, inspiring, and enlightening minds for over 20 years teaching both the Islamic sciences and the National Curriculum. With a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the Islamic sciences, including Jalālayn (tafsīr), Mishkāt (ḥadīth), Hidāyah (fiqh), and Uṣūl ul-Fiqh, she is a true visionary who delivers lectures throughout the UK and abroad. Her expertise and knowledge are unmatched, and her passion for teaching is awe-inspiring.
Shaykha Maryam's journey began in England, where she received an education from traditional scholars and earned a Master's Degree with an authorization (ijāzah) in Islamic Theology and Jurisprudence. She then specialized in ‘Aqīdah and studied advanced Fiqh (Iftā') for two years. Her thirst for knowledge took her to Morocco and Spain, where she delved into the Islamic sciences of spirituality and purification, expanding her understanding and deepening her expertise.
In addition to her impressive Islamic studies, Shaykha Maryam has also completed a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in English Language and Literature, a Post-Graduate Certificate, and Post-Graduate Diploma in Education. She is a qualified Modern Foreign Language teacher in English and holds a Master's Degree in Education (Leadership and Management).
Her extensive travels across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East have enriched her teaching methods and broadened her perspective on the Islamic sciences. SHAYKHA (ALIMAH) QURATULAIN

Shaykha (Alimah) Quratulain was born and raised in Pakistan. After completing her primary education with the memorization the Noble Qur’ān, she completed a six-year intensive program in traditional Islamic sciences completing several texts in Fiqh, Uṣūl ul-Fiqh, ‘Aqīdah, Tafsīr, and Ḥadīth. She holds ijāzah (authorization) in Sahīh al-Bukhārī, Sahīh al-Muslim, Sunan at-Tirmidhī, Sunan Abī Dāwūd, Sunan an-Nasā'ī, and Sunan Ibn Mājah. Shaykha Quratulain also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Wellness and Alternative Medicine (Homeopathy). For the past 20 years, she has been actively teaching Ḥadīth, Arabic grammar, Tafsīr, Fiqh and Qur’ān to women of all ages in Arabic, English, and Urdu. She has witnessed many young female scholars graduate under her guidance and tutorship. Shaykha Quratulain has also completed two years of specialization in Islamic Law & Legal Theory (Iftā') and authored texts on classical Arabic grammar. Shaykha Quratulain is currently employed as a head teacher of an Islamic institute in London where she resides with her husband and three children.
SHAYKHA (ALIMAH) SAIRA MUFTI

Shaykha (Alimah) Saira Mufti was born in Pakistan. After completing her primary education in Pakistan, she moved to London, England where she completed a five-year intensive program in the traditional Islamic sciences studying Qur’ān, Tafsīr, Ḥadīth, ‘Aqīdah, Fiqh and Arabic Linguistics. She holds ijāzah (authorization) in Sahīh al-Bukhārī, Sahīh al-Muslim, Sunan at-Tirmidhī, Sunan Abī Dāwūd, Sunan an-Nasā'ī, and Sunan Ibn Mājah. For the past 10 years, Shaykha Saira has been actively teaching the Qur’ān and Islamic sciences to women and children of all ages in Arabic, English, and Urdu. She has witnessed many young female scholars graduate under her guidance and tutorship. Shaykha Saira is currently working towards a formal ijāzah in Tajwīd & Qurānic recitations, while furthering her studies in advanced Arabic grammar. She resides in London with her husband and four children—her eldest, twenty-four, is married with a child, making her a very active grandmother.
USTADHA HANA

Ustadha Hana was born and raised in England. After completing her secondary education, she completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy. She furtherd her studies and completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) qualifying her as an academic teacher. Ustadha Hana is an ijāzah certified Qur’ān teacher who has taught Tajwīd for over 10 years at various institutes in London. She is also the co-founder of Ḥāmil al-Qur’ān providing Tajwīd teachers professional teacher-training programs to spread awareness of the correct recitation of the Qur’ān. Among her esteemed teachers are Ustadh Ghul Fraz Khan whose sanad (a chain of narration connecting to the Prophet ﷺ) links to the late Shaykh Abdul Razzāq al-Halabī, Ustadha Fatima Dabbousi whose sanad reaches the late Shaykh Ḥasan al-Kurdī of Syria, and Ustadha Muhsina Thahera. Ustadha Hana resides in London with her husband and three young children.

SHAYKHA (ALIMAH) SUMMAYA
Shaykha (Alimah) Summaya was born and raised in Manchester, United Kingdom. While pursuing her secondary education at a renowned grammar school, Shaykha Summaya had a change of heart leading her to study the traditional Islamic sciences for six years. She received various ijāzah (authorization) in Sahīh al-Bukhārī, Sahīh al-Muslim, Sunan at-Tirmidhī, Sunan Abī Dāwūd, Sunan an-Nasā'ī, and Sunan Ibn Mājah. After graduation, she furthered her Arabic studies in Egypt for two years. Since completing her traditional Islamic studies, Shaykha Summaya has been continuously teaching Sahīh al-Muslim. In the past, she has had the honor to teach Jalālayn (tafsīr), Mishkāt (ḥadīth), and Hidāyah (fiqh). Since the last 8 years, Shaykha Summaya has also been privileged to teach Sahīh al-Bukhārī. She has also been actively involved in interfaith work within the Manchester community and teaching revert sisters. She has been teaching and giving Da’wah for over 18 years. Shaykha Summaya is also a mother of four children.
SHAYKHA (ALIMAH) SHAMIRA
She holds ijāzah (authorization) in Sahīh al-Bukhārī, Sahīh al-Muslim, Sunan at-Tirmidhī, Sunan Abī Dāwūd, Sunan an-Nasā'ī, and Sunan Ibn Mājah after completing a five-year intensive program at one of Britain’s most renowned Islamic universities for women, Thereafter, she continued her studies in Damascus, Syria where she obtained an ijāzah in Tajwīd of the Ḥafṣ recitation from the late eminent Syrian scholar, Shaykh Ḥasan al-Kurdī. In addition, she furthered her Arabic studies at the Abu-Noor Institute and took classes in Fiqh, ‘Aqīdah and Sīrah at Damascus’ Masjid Zaid. She holds a Master’s Degree in Demographics and Social Analysis from the University of California at Irvine, focusing on the identity formation of the Muslim-American population. Since 2005, Shaykha Shamira has taught Fiqh for women at the Zaytuna Institute in California and other venues across North America. Shaykha Shamira is both a wife and mother, and she enjoys giving interactive and uplifting talks to sisters across the U.S.

She holds ijāzah (authorization) in Sahīh al-Bukhārī, Sahīh al-Muslim, Sunan at-Tirmidhī, Sunan Abī Dāwūd, Sunan an-Nasā'ī, and Sunan Ibn Mājah, as well as completing the memorization of the Quran. She completed a five-year intensive program in the traditional Islamic Sciences at a renowned Islamic institute in South Africa. At the hands of many eminent scholars she completed several texts in Fiqh, Uṣūl ul-Fiqh, ‘Aqīdah, Tafsīr, and Ḥadīth. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media studies from the University of South Africa. Since 2008, she has been actively teaching Arabic, Tafsīr, and Ḥadīth to women in South Africa.
SHAYKHA (ALIMAH) KULSUM
Shaykha (Alimah) Kulsum studied the Islamic sciences for six continuous years and gained a profound in-depth knowledge in numerous fields such as Qur’ān, Tafsīr, Ḥadīth, Fiqh and Arabic Linguistics. She graduated with a Master’s in Islamic Theology with ijāzah (authorization) in Sahīh al-Bukhārī, Sahīh al-Muslim, Sunan at-Tirmidhī, Sunan Abī Dāwūd, Sunan an-Nasā'ī, and Sunan Ibn Mājah .Upon graduation, Shaykha Kulsum continues to teach children, teenagers and adults. Shaykha Kulsum is married with two children and lives with her family in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Shaykha (Alimah) Saima was born in Pakistan and raised in the United States. After completing her primary education in the U.S., she traveled to the United Kingdom to begin her formal Islamic studies. For six continuous years, she studied the Islamic sciences and gained a profound in-depth knowledge in numerous fields such as Qur’ān, Tafsīr, Ḥadīth, Fiqh and Arabic Linguistics. She graduated with a Master’s in Islamic Theology. Alongside her Islamic education, she completed her secondary education.
SHAYKHA (ALIMAH) SHUMSUN
Shaykha (Alimah) Shumsun was born and raised in New York City. After completing her primary education in Queens, she traveled to the United Kingdom to begin her formal Islamic studies. After memorizing the Noble Qur’ān, she enrolled in a rigorous seven-year Islamic studies course covering Qur’ān, Tafsīr, Ḥadīth, Fiqh and Arabic Linguistics. At the culmination of her studies, she received a Master’s in Islamic Theology. In addition to her Islamic education, she completed her secondary education.
SHAYKHA (ALIMAH) TAYABA
Shaykha (Alimah) Tayaba was born in Pakistan and raised in the United States. After completing her primary education in the U.S., she traveled to Bangladesh to begin her formal Islamic studies enrolling in a four-year course. Upon completion, she furthered her Islamic studies in the United Kingdom acquiring an in-depth knowledge, understanding and proficiency in Qur’ān, Tafsīr, Ḥadīth, Fiqh and Arabic Linguistics. She graduated with a Master’s in Islamic Theology.
MUFTI AMINUL-ISLAM
At the tender age of twelve, Mufti Aminul-Islam completed the memorization of the Noble Qur’ān in Brooklyn, New York along with his academic studies. He then traveled to South Africa to begin his formal Islamic studies acquiring an in-depth knowledge, understanding and proficiency in Qur’ān, Tafsīr, Ḥadīth, Fiqh and Arabic Linguistics under the guidance of traditional scholars. At the culmination of his studies, he received ijāzah in Islamic Jurisprudence and Ḥadīth. After graduation, he specialized in the science of issuing legal religious verdicts (Iftā') studying advanced classical texts of Fiqh and Iftā'. He then furthered his studies in Qur’ānic recitation earning ijāzah in all ten Qirā’at.
