Course Description:
The Kitaab Tafseer Program is designed for motivated students who want to further their studies in the Islamic sciences in a structured manner while simultaneously studying in school or pursuing their careers. The program is dedicated to the translation and in-depth commentary of the Qur’ān, focusing on the language, grammar, and structure of the Qur’ān. It also explores the key messages and lessons of the Qur’ān and demonstrates their contemporary relevance.
The program incorporates modules in advanced Arabic grammar, along with modules dedicated to the Sīrah, prophetic biography.
Subjects covered in the Kitaab Program:
- Tafsīr, Qur’ānic Exegesis with Translation
- Sīrah, Prophetic Biography
- Naḥw, Arabic Grammar
- Ṣarf, Morphology
Prerequisite: Al-Lisaan Arabic Certificate or its equivalent coursework at an institute/college/university (or other credentials).
