Course Description:
The Lisaan Arabic Program is designed for motivated students who want to seek knowledge in a structured manner while simultaneously studying in school or pursuing their careers. The program will give you a functional grasp of Arabic in order to gain access to the Qur’ān in its language, access to Islamic texts and/or future academic study.
The program incorporates modules in Arabic grammar and literature, along with modules dedicated to the language of the Qur’ān and Ḥadīth, as well as spoken and written Arabic.
Subjects covered in the Lisaan Arabic Program:
- Naḥw, Arabic Grammar
- Ṣarf, Morphology
- Adab, Literature
- Muḥādathah, Conversational Arabic
Prerequisites: Prospective students are required to have the ability to recognize the Arabic letters and their combinations.
