Course Description:
Menstruation is a topic which is often considered taboo or even misunderstood because sisters may struggle with confusing and irregular menstrual cycles.
This introductory course will cover the essential legal rulings of menstruation, post-natal bleeding (lochia) and abnormal bleeding. The rulings of menstruation affect many aspects of our ritual worship such as prayer, fasting, and pilgrimage. Therefore, it is imperative that each Muslim woman strives to attain this obligatory knowledge such that she is able to complete her worship soundly. This course will also demonstrate the expansiveness of this subject and the importance of further in-depth study.
